Editors Note I hope you're enjoying the Lighter evenings the clocks have afforded us, even if they are still somewhat cold and crisp! My commute from Edinburgh has been considerably soothed by the renewed views over the Ochils and beyond. Long plunged in darkness over the winter months, it has been something of a surprise to find them shimmering with frost or snow of an April morn and, coupled with the beautiful skies spring presents, there has been many an occasion I wished I could capture that stunning view. We are lucky enough this season, however, to have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the Ochils' more unusual attributes. Fenwick Worrell, a new committee member of ours and organic farmer in the Dunning Glen region, has kindly offered to lead a series of guided tours on the quaking bogs, pictish hill forts and dowsing.
