Second outing

Stirling writer, broadcaster and FotO President, Rennie McOwan's adventure novel for children Light on Dumyat was first published in 1982. It was re-launched at Stirling's
Art Gallery and Museum in September last year. Originally published by the St Andrew Press of Edinburgh, the story is based on conservation and historical themes in the OchiIs. Its sequel, The White Stag Adventure, was broadcast by the BBC for schools.

Rennie was awarded the Outdoor Writers guild's Golden Eagle Award in 1997 for access campaigning and contributing to Scottish outdoor culture.
