13. Colsnaur Hill

Colsnaur Hill. At the summit is a quite substantial rock seat crag , which looks almost like it's been quarried. It is very handy for lunch shelter on windy days. Out of picture on the left is Jerah, a shepherd's house occupied till the early 1950s (last occupant was one Donald Burns). A Biblical name, Jerah, occurs in the First Book of Chronicles ch. 1, v 20... "And Jok-tan begat Al-mo-dad and She-leph, and Ha-zar-ma-veth, and Je-rah".
